The Spearflex Building was originally part of the Shakespeare Company, manufacturers of popular fishing rods & reels in the 1900’s. Later in life it was painted over and boarded up, until PlazaCorp uncovered the brick and timber to create some of West Michigan’s most dramatic office space.
The building has a multitude of windows facing all directions, flooding the offices with light and offering views of the Festival Site and the skyline of downtown Kalamazoo. Inside, brick and beam have been exposed and refinished and a central atrium ensure that the spaces are bright and welcoming. Garden level offices are also available.
The property offers access to all of downtown’s amenities: all of the area’s best restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries are within walking distance of the front door.
Onsite parking is also available.
